  Chris Kyle American Sniper , Movie / Book seen or read either ? Your thoughts ! / ?

  i have just watched this movie not realising it is based on an autobiography of a real life navy seal .a man who did 4 tours overseas .he is officially recognised as killing 164 ?

  people , i think he claimed about 200+.

  i havent read the book , i have only seen the movie and of course they take libertys their in what they portray ,clint eastwood had his fingerprint on it .. the movie portrayed him as an all american boy , a patriot who would fight tooth and nail for his country and his comrades .spoiler....... it is ironic that he was murdered with a gun , by a fellow war veteran who he was trying to help.. i would love to hear your responses to this post .

  I've seen it, yep it was very ironic how he died.

  I think Clint did a reasonably balanced job between showing the nature of warfare and not glorifying it too much.

  i am not a jw ...however i began having bible studies (i d call them watchtower studies).

  i was beginning to get lured in and brainwashed into accepting the religion as the true religion...but something inside of me told me there was something odd.

  some time passes and i was invited to a meeting and i accepted.

  When you die or now?

  Live a little or a lot now, but make some provision for the kids eh? Leaving them nothing would be unkind unless you have little or poor contact.

  Imagine how that would wash if a JW under investigation for wrongdoing by 2 designated elders appeals the investigation proceedure.

  All the costing given in that article are for the litigious USA. We are not talking about the USA.

  Even if a death penalty trial does cost a bit more, you arent then paying hundreds of thousands per year looking after them until they die in possibly 40 or 50 years time.

  Poster country flags and privacy

  the new forum originally had a little country flag next to each post showing the country that the post was made from based on the geoip encoding (the country the ip address is from).

  before i switched over to the new site someone made an issue about it violating their privacy and i didn't want to complicate and confuse the switchover with policy debate at the same time as technical issues so removed the flags even though i disagreed.. someone has already requested it as a feature and i think it should be added back so i thought it's now time to open the discussion and get everyone's opinions.

  You live on a farm is about the most incriminating thing you have posted, so does the country you live in have less than 10 farms, making you easily tracked down i wonder? Are are you just throwing a wobbly for the sake of it?
